We are...

from Ben Franklin High School, working as a SHOREline group, sponsored by Columbia University. Several of our members have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina and other related natural disasters. As it was very traumatic, and children seem to be the most affected, we decided to do something about it. We intend towork with several elementary schools and provide them with teen mentors from local highschools. These teen mentors run an after-school program, our project, that is dedicated to kids- ARTSY.

Although we are still working on getting our project off the ground, we are working hard and would love your support and input.
